Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the EQ Grappling website and member portal. By using the site, creating an account, or purchasing a membership online, you agree to them. Your gym membership itself is also governed by the membership terms you accept when you sign up, and every person who trains with us must sign our waiver before stepping on the mats.

Your account

Keep your login details to yourself and let us know if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Accounts for members under 18 are managed by a parent or guardian.

Memberships and payments

Membership prices, inclusions and billing frequency are shown on the memberships page at the time you purchase. Recurring memberships bill automatically until cancelled. Memberships can be paused or cancelled with the notice period shown on your plan (generally 30 days) - contact us or use the member portal. Payments are processed by Square; we never store your card details.

Refunds

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a payment has been made in error or you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us at hello@eqgrappling.com.au and we will work it out with you.

Training and safety

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and wrestling are contact sports and carry inherent risks. Every participant (or their parent or guardian) must complete our waiver and medical questionnaire honestly before training, and must follow coach instructions and gym rules while at the academy.

The shop

Merchandise orders are confirmed by email. If an item is out of stock or we cannot fulfil your order, we will refund you in full. Faulty items will be replaced or refunded in line with the Australian Consumer Law.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no attempting to access other members' data, no interfering with the service, and keep portal messages respectful. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Content and liability

The content on this site (including class schedules and pricing) may change from time to time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on site content or from interruptions to the website. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
